The Wooden Nickel - Crested Butte

Always reliable and delicious. A place where I'm in CB every time.

I don't understand why others rate the Wooden Nickel so low. The food is always great and at a fair price. Other steak places come and go or change ownership in CB, and yet the Wooden Nickel remains. That should tell you something.

I waited a year for a elk tenderloin and we got it New Years Eve ,,,all I could say was that was the best ,,all and our waitress was fantastic !! If your ever in Crested Butte you HAVE to go eat here.

This is one of our very favorite places to visit each year! We truly look forward to coming back to the amazing food and ambiance this timeless place provides! The best of the best!!!
