Walt's Roast Beef - Cranston

I really enjoyed the fresh fish sandwich at this restaurant. They only serve it on Wednesdays and Fridays, but it's better than some places that offer fish sandwiches every day of the week. I always request cheese instead of tartar sauce on a whole wheat bun. This time, I also ordered crispy fries, which were perfect. I used to work nearby and commute from the Westerly area, but I don't get to visit as often now. I'm happy to see that the quality of their food has remained consistent. I give it two thumbs up!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. I placed an order through Grubhub and arrived early to pick it up. The staff was incredibly rude to me, despite me politely mentioning that I was early. They yelled at me from the back without checking if my order was ready. I have never been treated so poorly at this restaurant when ordering in person. It seems they mistook me for a Grubhub driver, but regardless, their behavior was unacceptable. If this is how they treat delivery drivers, I am hesitant to support this establishment any longer. It's a shame that basic kindness seems to be lacking.

Went to go to dinner tonight arrived at 6:45 PM to find the doors locked. Disappointed as it says open to 8 PM. Since I went out of my way to go there I will not be going back. Many other restaurants to chose from that are open the hours they advertise.

Always love some walts, roast beef . The French fries are spectacular, so do yourself a favor and get some. You won't be disappointed. The other items on the menu are also pretty good. My personal favorite is the hot turkey sandwich. Ordered through Uber eats. Ordered a triple beast burger with bacon and extra cheese. Only had 2 burger patties and no bacon. Disappointed, I’ve ordered from here before and it was great.
