The Cranford Pub

I've never been disappointed with this restaurant. While the menu isn't extensive, there truly is something for everyone, and everything is freshly prepared. I enjoyed the spinach salad with brie cheese and moist grilled chicken, while others at the table had paninis, duck, and burgers. Unfortunately, there were no crabs left! The white cosmo is back as well—woo hoo! It's a delicious cocktail, but I made sure to be mindful and only order one. The service is exceptional, with a smiling server and attentive food runners. This place is truly a gem in Cranford!

The first host then escorted us to our table and apologized for the second host's attitude, explaining, "She just wants to go home." Once seated, we inquired about our server, only to learn that he was tired and eager to go to bed. While it's understandable to feel fatigued, guests generally don't want to hear about servers' personal fatigue while dining. Despite these challenges, the quality of the food redeemed the overall experience, which is what matters most. Considering many restaurants are struggling to adapt and maintain staff during these difficult times, we're willing to give it another try on our next visit.

The dining experience was outstanding. The restaurant is slightly on the pricey side, but it is definitely worth it.

Service by both the bartenders (Mike and Patty? and our waiter (Bobby? was excellent. Kitchen got our foot out quickly. Meal was delicious. Highly recommend!
