Restaurant bewertenSuch a wonderful atmosphere. The decor is well thought out and lively, clean and the lighting is perfect for an informal party or even romantic dinner. Most people should book romance for the shoulder hours as it is a pretty busy place during the evening dinner hours. The food is quite tasty and the kitchen staff was a little slower for a few days, as the place sometimes has a twenty-minute table. Consider that this is not so bad to talk volumes about food and craft beers on tap. The microbrewery on site means a constant supply of house beer is available. There can be a noisy place and there are not too many real private corners or stands with the open plan but it leans on the side of the trendy rather than cozy/private. Prices were very competitive compared to other places of this kind. For this reason, it raises the Heid Out as one of the top 10 accounts of places in the region when you’re over food tasteQuantity vs price. Service of waiting staff was extremely attentive. There were a few Hiccups in the food itself, but nothing that could not be fixed with new attention. All in all few conses are easily rejected against the overall positive experience. A simple 5 stars for this Cranbrook gem.
I am absolutely in love with this Brawpub!! After two gruelling flights that brought me from Nanaimo, I was nothing less than tempted to find this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food (I had the Bisonburger) was exquisite and full of taste. The locally brewed beers were fantastic and tasteful. Crème brûlée should die. What is that? If you ever find yourself in Cranbrook, this * is the place to be for all your food and drinks. There is a pub page; there is a family side. You really thought about everything here! I recommend this place for a hot date or a family meal alike.
Great place. Fantastic beers, the Elephant Run is a wonderful IPA, and couples good with the spicy pickles. They also have a dog-friendly terrace in summer. If you're in town, you have to meet a point!!
They serve a magnificent Yorkshire pudding with Roast Beef. It is rare to find restaurants serving Yorkshire pudding. The Yorkshire Pud was crispy and fluffy, the roast beef was good, but would have been even better if it was cooked with a little pink rarely to moderately hard, as it was dryr well made. Pure yum. Her butterfly shrimp was also delicious. The Jicama salad was refreshing and healthy. The green pea, chickpeas, mushroom masala was also delicious and fine tasting comparable to those in Indian restaurants. High-quality, well-made food here with a varied menu. Very impressed.
Great selection of craft beer and a menu that goes from Buddha bowls to bison burgers. Friendly efficient service as well. Highly recommend when visiting Cranbrook.
