The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. The wine room is stunning and the ambiance is beautiful.

I was expecting good things when I read the menu, but maybe my expectations were too high. Staff were good, doing their best on a very busy night. The ambience was lovely, we were sat by the fireplace at my request. It was the food that was a let down. I didn 't like the way my snails were prepared, but couldn 't put my finger on why. My partner 's oysters were lovely. The main of mussels was a sauce that was too rich for me, which others may find nice, but the shoestring fries (pommes paille) weren 't helping the dish. Some regular fries or chips would have been easier to dip in the sauce. My partner 's pork dish was ok , although the jus on top was lovely needed more of it. Dessert was great though! Tarte Tatin was huge, and very tasty, and the Creme brulee was fanstatic. Overall, slightly disappointed.

Staff are excellent and the food is delicious and plentiful Good value for set price of $50/2-courses or $60/3-courses. Will go regularly.
