Oak - Cozumel

Dropped in for some Happy Hour drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is really cool and it was super busy, bit it was a Saturday evening. Bartender was great and explained what was specials and how they worked. Got a couple of glasses of vino and some chips and salsa. Very good and within walking distance of our Airbnb. Great location and lots of seating.

Upon entry there were no signs or hostess to let you know if you were supposed to wait to be seated or where to place your order, then it took a while to get the attention of the bartenders (which is apparently where you place your orders). Lovely ambiance/decor, live music was delightful. However, AC was blasting and made it uncomfortably cold so we opted for the shared patio which to our dismay smelled like cigarettes because of another patron smoking. Great place for wine by glass or bottle and small plates. Nice venue for wedding and baby showers, etc.

This place is always a solid choice. Great selection of wines, good cocktails, and tasty food. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to your needs. They have daily specials and music on weekends.
