Restaurante Los Helechos De Maria

On the way from southern Colombia back to Medellin we came across this small street restaurant where we decided to eat. It is very popular for tourists who drive by taxi or bus from and to the surroundings. The food is great and the service is also very good.

While we drove from Neiva to Honda, we had to drive through this small town called Castilla, Coyaima, Tolima and decided to stop a quick lunch. We ordered the chicken with rice and beans and a soup and were very satisfied with the service and quality of food. It is also a stop for the minibuses of Taxis Verdes going to Fusagasuga and is very popular among locals. They serve all kinds of local Colombian food that the tourist like. They usually stop there for a quick snack or a break.
