Restaurant bewertenThe welcome was a little weird. Indeed, when we arrived, no one came to welcome us; I had to go get the master of the latter explained to us that he thought we were with another group of 11 people and that we were going to join them. He apologized for contempt, and after the service was impeccable and we were able to dialogue with the owner who is very kind. The food is very good and the menu is very complete. on the other hand, the wine card is quite thin. The house wine is really good. It was our first visit. We'll go back.
Menu is rather classic. The food was fine but nothing more than what you normally get in an Italian restaurant. I would expect better for the price. Dinner for two with a bottle of ordinary wine was $220. Too much for the food that we had.Bread was nice and fresh though.
Meal was excellent, great service, good location. Busy so reservation are suggested. Would look forward to another dinner there.
The service was stellar, and the place was not crowded on this Saturday night, around 6:30 p.m Nice classy setup, romantic set up with Italian music playing.We enjoyed the veal Marsala and penne with Italian sausage. We felt the food wasn't authentic Italian food; it was tasty, but.
Today, I would like to offer my congratulations to the "il castello de sweetsburg" restaurant team. Indeed, on 5 March 1992, the young Veneto family moved to cowansville to open this restaurant of fine Italian cuisine. with perseverance and know-how, they have managed to overcome themselves by offering quality dishes and an atmosphere where you feel well. Thank you to Gerardo, the chef-cooker, for his patience and generosity to explain culinary things to us; Thanks also to rosy, cook, that we rarely see out of the kitchen, which also concocts small surprises and offers us a flowery terrace in summer; Thanks also to émilio for his friendly welcome, for his respect for the customers and his magnificent smile; Finally, thank you to the service staff who contributes to this success. I have been a loyal client for 23 years; I wish them a happy birthday and lift my hat!
