Restaurant bewertenMy wife and I had our first dining experience here, and it was truly fantastic. We asked our server, Lynn, for some appetizer suggestions and ended up choosing the Lobster Cardinal and Eggplant Parmesan, both served with homemade pasta. We also ordered the fried calamari and Caesar salads. Everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! Our server was very attentive and provided great recommendations. The portion sizes were generous, the atmosphere was lovely, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning to try more items from the menu and to bring friends and family along! Five stars!
I had some really delicious Italian food here that I highly recommend trying. However, if you're a fan of bread, you might be a bit disappointed. With your meal, you only get two small slices of bread. I ordered extra bread and paid 50 cents, but I only received a tiny piece. While they offer unlimited bread for dipping, I expected more. Overall, it was a minor detail, but it left a significant impression on me. When we finish at the museum, we’ll definitely hit up the bakery first before heading back!
The food is not the issue, rather it is the lack of attention and any sense of care for the customers. We were seated at 6PM with a reservation and waited 30 minutes before our server came over, and it was not until 6:45 before drinks were delivered. 3 requests were made before water was finally served along with old stale bread. Salads arrived AFTER our entrees and only because we told the server they did not come..she seemed surprised but not apologetic. The only comment she could manage was would you like us to package these to go? . There was no management presence at all. We were presented with the check, which of course had the 20% gratuity already included, as if it was an automatic entitlement. This is not what I call dining out!
Have watched this restaurant change hands many times through the years. Current state as Pats Italian is good food and portions but horrendous service. No management around or supervision. Wait staff discombobulated, bar tenders can't get out of their own way and greeter standing there staring into space. Too bad.
The food is great, but the service not so much handed a wine opener with our bottle of wine (kid you not). Nice spot and I'm sure it will get better with time.
