Restaurant bewertenI would like to start off saying that the food was great. But, I'd have to search back 20 years to think of a time when I experienced worse service. We had reservations and arrived on time. We approached an empty host stand and waited a few minutes. No big deal. The hostess arrived, pointed to a table across the restaurant and told us to sit there. We were seen quickly by the server and our order was taken. That's when thing took a turn for the worse. We waited 40 minutes for our food and mine was brought out 20 minutes before my friend's. When our server brought out my food that was the last time we saw her until we got the check as she spend all of her time with a larger table. It took another 20 minutes after the second dish was delivered before someone asked how things were. I asked for bread and my friend asked for water. Neither ever came. We noticed that there were several tables waiting for food and when food was brought out, it was one dish at a time with several minutes between the dishes that followed regardless of party size. Large parties had some guests done with their food when others didn't have any. We won't be back.
Food was unseasoned and watery. I ordered the funghi trifolati, so watery at the bottom, soaking the bottom of dish, dry bare noodles at topmasked with mushrooms, and was so bad I couldn't finish my food. Not worth the price. I never leave a review but it was that bad.
We had a Great dinner last night at Bella Luna with some out of town friends . The service was Awesome And The Food was Great. I would recommend Bella Luna over any Italian Resturant I have eaten at
Great tasting eating and very friendly and accommodating staff! one of our new favourites to eat in corpus. Live music is also great. we visited a few times and will definitely return. a suggestion to the owners is to post a sign with indication: only good behavioral children allowed. during our last visit all restaurants had to bear the annoying, unwanted and disturbing cracks and the screaming of a small child (ren) (about 2-3 years). the elders did not seem to care or be harassed by him, but the moats, the personal and even the musician we completely relieved when the family of 6 with children remained in the tow. we enjoy a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere while eating and I am sure we are not alone.
For a pricier Italian restaurant, I kinda of had expectations that it would be nicer. My husband and I dressed accordingly. But when we got there, it was not very classy at all. There are beer signs on the wall, yes one is neon. The clientele clearly had more money than we do to go to a place so costly, dressed so casually. In fact, one of the other customers there was wearing shorts and a pleather crop top... it was pretty unappetizing. Of course, that's no fault of the restaurant.Thankfully, we had used a Groupon and did not pay full price. The food was decent. I wouldn't say anything was amazing except for the bread. I got the lobster ravioli and throughout the entire dish, got about 2 bites of actual lobster. But the fries for the appetizer, pretty good! But the reason that I'm giving it 3 stars is because the service was pretty good. Our waitress was great! Aside from that, probably won't be back.
