Restaurant bewertenThis is a great breakfast place with good service and tasty well prepared breakfast with good coffee . The ambience is OK but some music would be good . A bit more flare with the lunch and Tapas choices with a local produce theme would be good . . The nearby meat on the Murray butchers smoked products would fit well on the menu with a glass of Rutherglen wine and some local olives . This cafe has potential for town and region .
This café has undergone a name change apparently now incorporating a connotation of being a Barrel Brew plus Tapas establishment. Big bit of a stretch from our point of view. Only a small range of beer in stubbys available (not unique or craft}, tapas consisted of seafood basket, spring rolls and fried dim sims? Tapas, please! If the crinkle cut deep fried chips served with our mains were an indication then the tapas would have likewise come out of a frozen supermarket plastic packet! My roast pork roll and my partners creamy garlic chicken dish were the, undoubtedly, worst we have ever paid for and let me tell you we have done a few miles. Buy a premade sandwich from Woolies and go and look at the river.
Visited twice for breakfast last October when staying nearby. Friendly staff and speedy service and lovely fresh eggs and bacon. A good coffee to follow.
WOW friendly hospitality, great Customer Service from the staff at Civic Cafe, Corowa. After reading that the cafe included gluten free and dairy free options, we visited while staying overnight in Corowa. The lactose free iced latte and fresh (gluten free) salad roll were amazing. My lactose free iced latte was so delicious, that we returned early the following morning for an extra large one to take away. Thank you
Great coffee, milkshakes and iced chocolate. Beautiful homemade cakes. Very friendly staff. A great place to stop for a quick break.
