Clayton's Take Out - Coronado

There's something for everyone at this restaurant. My kids absolutely loved the food, especially the rice. I'm a big fan of the burritos – they're HUGE! They are packed with flavor. The place is popular and usually has a couple of outdoor tables, which tend to get busy, but the service is quick. We took our meal to the beach park, and I recommend doing that if you can't find a spot to sit.

I had a great experience at this restaurant during my visit to Coronado Island. I enjoyed a quick lunch consisting of a delicious cold beef taco and a cheesy quesadilla, all at a reasonable price. The total, including a drink, was under my expectations!

Best Chimichanga Ever! I spent years working nearby, and Clayton's was the go-to spot for Chimichangas and Carne Asada Burritos. Both are solid 10s on a scale of 1 to 10. I usually don’t order chimichangas at other places, but they make them so well that you have to experience it to believe it. Don’t let the appearance of the place intimidate you; it may look like you're entering a back kitchen, and yes, that's pretty much what it is. They’ve successfully transformed a humble spot into a fantastic Mexican eatery! It’s truly delicious, and I highly recommend it!

The food is not your average Burrito shop. Burritos are so huge. They're gonna let you go. The school children call it hole in the wall. But her food is with authentic Mexican taste and style.

Very good! I think that something included in their salsa was carbonated which was very interesting. Glad I stopped here while on the peninsula
