Great Wall Chinese - Cork

We have ordered here previously with no issue but on this occasion, our food took over an hour to be delivered and was stone cold when we got it. We rang to complain and the lady on the phone apologised and promised us a free Meal the next time, Sorted! Except it wasn't, about a half hour later the delivery driver rang us back asking did we want chips and rice dropped up now as they were cold, we explained that all the food was cold not just the chips and rice, she said it shouldn't have been cold and basically accused us of lying, she said she'd speak to the kitchen staff, then hung up. 20 minutes later she called back saying the lady on the phone didn't understand what we were saying when she promised us a free meal, and the kitchen staff could give us free rice and chips if we wanted it, this is not why we rang in the first place!! Her rudeness on the phone and the fact we were waiting so long for the food, that was then inedible when it came and the complete lack of customer service we won't be ordering from here again!!!

The food is good, but the portions could be improved. I ordered a spice box which came with a drink for €8.10, but it didn't have very much in it.

The food at this restaurant is always reliable, with generous portion sizes and a staff that is friendly.

Chef Kenny is amazing! He is extremely personable and the food is always delivered promptly and just as you would anticipate from a Chinese restaurant. The quality is consistently excellent every time you eat here. The BBQ sauce for the spare ribs is unbeatable, definitely the best in Cork.
