The host and the server were welcoming and hospitable. we had an extra baggage in the tow because we came into a wreck near the day before, and they allowed us to remove it from the way we eat. when I heard the recommendation of the server, I had the lemon pepper trout. perfectly cooked. outside crack, inside tender n damp. the lemon pepper was a little strong (cracked kernel), as I had to scrape only one lil from the tip, but I enjoyed every bite. were the mac n cheese and the recommended four cheese quark casroles (which was surprisingly hearty). great location for lunch?

Food was ok... service was horrible. The waitress had us and 1 other table. Our drinks were empty and we had to ask her for refills. There was dried food on parts of the table and it was soaking wet when we were sat. Very disappointed.

Food was very good. Server was polite and tried to be as quick and accommodating as possible.However, I had ordered a side order of loaded hashbrown casserole, which wasn't delivered with our order. When mentioned to the server, she apologized and said shewould handle it.Later she came to the table and apologized again, saying the cook didn't want to cook it ?!?!

Checking in no attendant so we waited to check in at counter but was told we have to check in with attendant. Person in front of us experienced this too. The attendant magically reappeared up front and by this time another party was checked in before us even though they arrived later. We waited 13 minutes and I asked about seating but they said they already summoned us. Not true as I showed the my initial text message from Cracker Barrel and no other message came. They said they couldn’t seat us right now but did 1 minute later. DO NOT ALLOW ATTENDANT TO ABANDON STATION WITHOUT REPLACEMENT, or allow more than one way to check in.
