La Corte - COPERTINO

La Corte is well worth a visit. It is not only located in a beautiful setting in the countryside surrounded by a well manicured landscape, but the food is excellent as well. Eating on the terrace is lovely as one can enjoy the beautiful gardens. Do however, wear either pants or bring mosquito repellant when you go during the summer months. The region is known for mosquitos during the warm season, but this should not stop you from enjoying such a lovely place or any other one in the Puglia region. In fact, I had forgotten mine and the waiters were so attentive that without me asking produced an anti-mosquito spray. I will return anytime!

We went there end of may in what seems to be the offseason. The fish and the seafood was frozen, so it was a very disappointing experience for us. Outside are a lot of mosquitos, so I recommend sitting inside.

Amazing location, perfect for every event or occasion. The menu is totally different from what you can find anywhere else, and it's excellent. The price is also modest for what it offers. The service and the welcome are really good too.

We've been greeted with a glass of prosecco and some olives and snacks, a really nice touch. We had the 20 euros starter for two, about 6 plates of beautifully cooked food. The main course was very tasty. The service spotless, location superb. We've paid about 60 euros for starter main and desert. Would highly recommend.
