Hartley's Beach Shop And Cafe

Stopped here after a nice long walk in the area. Very glad it was dog friendly! Great service by all the team and the food and drinks were fab! Would highly recommend this place for anyone needing coffee or lunch while in the area

Fantastic dinner and such friendly staff, dropped in twice while on a break to St Bees, we had coffee and scrumptious cakes and even a bowl of water for our dog.

This restaurant is the perfect place for a refreshing stop in St Bees. It serves as the starting point for the Coast to Coast walk. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I have to say, the service at this restaurant is extremely disorganized. There was only one staff member running around taking orders while the cafe was full, and the other members of staff seemed confused and unhelpful. One of them didn't speak English and seemed completely unaware of what was happening. The food was just average for a cafe, but there were mix-ups with orders being delivered to the wrong tables. Overall, the staff definitely need more training and better organization.
