Restaurant bewertenStunned in this place after shopping and was glad that we found it! My friend and I shared an order of cheeseries and the Californian chicken sandwich, but I must admit I didn't want to share after the first bite. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and the fantastic staff is very attentive. Since we see the Happy Hour menu, we want to be regular. Make your way to the Grub Burger Bar and thank you later!
This was my first time at the Grub Burger Bar. I've seen it on the map, but somehow it never happened. I'm glad I made it! The food I had the front Porch Burger and it and the Fritten were delicious!! Well cooked, good size burger and delicious! Service fast! I got my food to sit within 5 minutes! Staff friendly, happy and helpful! The atmosphere really cool inside with cool lights, good music and a bar in the middle. And they keep it very clean! I definitely come back!
Tried out the new hopdoddy. $6.75 for the Caesar salad is a great deal and it was yummy. Fries were good. I prefer the sweet potato fries at Becks prime more. The music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other. We wrapped up pretty quickly because of that. We also didn’t like how they assign you a table when you first walk in. Would be cool to have better options at the soda fountain like some craft sodas like stubborn soda.
It's clean. Noticed it immediately on walking in. This is important. I shouldn't have to guess if the restaurant is clean where I can't see and being clean where I can see helps. Staff is robotic. No smile. No hello. They appear burdened by the presence of a customer. 4 in my party. Ordered the OG Chicken sandwich, sauce on the side so I can taste the food. Unfortunately I should've asked for the sauce on it. The source is questionable as the breast used for my sandwich is double the size of the bun so likely chocked full of steroids and antibiotics. Food is cooked well but has no flavor. Breaded chicken and sliced pickles on a toasted bun. Wahoo. Chicken breading is basically just flour. Chicken itself only had whatever salt it left with from the farm. Same with the onion rings cooked very well but boring and bland so be sure to get something to dip them in. Cafeteria style ordering with a bar. Serve yourself drink station. Nothing amazing to talk about here. It's clean and they have food and drinks. May try other items next time but in no hurry to return.
Hopdoddy Burger was definitely an experience. It reminded me of Grub Burger so much. I'm not sure if it's because they didn't change the restaurant at all or what. The food. The Parmesan truffle fries and that sauce that comes with it is something that every customer should get. I could most definitely survive in a room with just these fries. Lol. The burger I had wasn't too bad. Llano poblano. Although I don't remember it having the poblano on there. I could have missed it. It seemed bigger than a Grub Burger, yet for the price of it, I was expecting a little more than what I got. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich, lacks the heat you expect to get when you see the name. They can definitely kicked this up a few notches. Maybe a lot of notches. Kudos to it being fresh. A few things to note, the everything is priced individually. The fries will easily feed two people. Unless they are both super hungry. There are more than just burger options to choose from. You will get counter service only for the most part. And yes they have a bar. The seltzer I got was $8 (shocked)
