Restaurant bewertenI stopped in for brunch this past weekend with a few friends. And i was surprised as how disappointed I was at our meal. I had been previously for cocktails- if I ever return, it will be for the drinks and not the food.We started off with the beignets. They were not soft and pillowy, but rather hard and crunchy. They resembled puffed up pita chips. There was no powdered sugar on them, only a few sprinkles of a green sugar. We saw another go out with powdered sugar- maybe they forgot ours?I ordered the beltline sandwich which was very good. I was a bit disappointed to find one piece of bacon with my $17 sandwich. My friend ordered the shakshuka which was almost inedible. The eggs were cooked for too long and were rubbery, hard boiled, and tough to eat. The portion size was also very small. The red sauce was very tasty though- we just wish the majority of the dish had been edible.Service was also a bit slow. Otherwise, our server was great.I really was disappointed, especially for a $50 meal. I probably will never return for food as I don’t think the price you are paying matches the quality, but I would still get cocktails here as those were good and the ambiance of the restaurant is nice. Unfortunately it struck me as one of the many places that prioritizes decor and food quality comes second.
This is the first time I've had a poor experience at Atrium. I was there for brunch and they were having an issue with the gas line so you could only order certain items on the menu. We were charged for still water and I've been there several times before and do not believe that I've ever been charged for water. As a single diner (split from a party of 7) for an entree, 2 non alc beverages and a 20% gratuity (already added) oh and the water charge, my meal was $62.00 pretty steep considering I couldn't even order what I really wanted. Yikes!
Sat at the bar with my wife. Most unfriendly bartenders I’ve had serve me before. Don’t go here. You’ll get no “hi” or “hello.” You get glares and blank stares.
A great meal. Service was great and helped my group get settled quickly. Would love to visit again just to try other menu items.
This was my second time visiting this restaurant. I remember not being super impressed the first time but this time it was a little disappointing. We originally came for brunch but by the time we were seated and orders ready to be taken we were told it was dinner time. Not entirely the server’s fault but that attention to detail would have been helpful. The service in general was very slow the entire afternoon. It took my drink forever to come from the bar. We were told how good the half ribs were by the server several people wanted to order that but the server came back saying they were “sold out” although, just as I mentioned earlier, dinner had just begun. Most of the staff were friendly and the food was decent but nothing about my experience really knocked my socks off. It was just okay.
