Silverlake Ramen - Concord

Don't be deterred by the lower ratings; this restaurant is a true contender for the best spicy ramen in Charlotte and undoubtedly the best in the Concord/Salisbury area. The broth is creamier than most, making you want to savor every last bite in the bowl. While there are some cultural quirks from the owners, they can easily be overlooked due to how fantastic the ramen is. The edamame is delightful, and the spicy tuna rice appetizer is outstanding as well. I'm hesitant to give it too glowing a review out of fear that it will become too popular. This place is a must-try!

This is a really great spot! It was clean and I arrived during a quiet time, so the service was excellent and prompt. I ordered the Shoyu ramen, which was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. I’m not particularly experienced with ramen, but for one bowl and a lemonade, it cost $25, which is a bit on the expensive side for me as a student. However, I genuinely would consider coming back here in the future!

Had a wonderful experience with Silverlake. Very homey even when busy and the managers were so sweet. First time having this different kind of ramen and it was a great treat. Couldn’t give a cash tip like I usually do, still left a tip from my card, but I will be prepared next time. Cash tips are better and readily available to the servers.Thank you Silverlake!! I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was really delicious—I'd highly recommend trying the gyoza. The atmosphere was also quite pleasant. They offer a $20 combo per person that includes a choice of ramen and an appetizer, which is a great deal and quite filling. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

My friends and I have been coming here for years whenever we meet up. Always a seat available and the staff is very accommodating. As far as the food, I haven't had 1 bad appetizer nor entree from Silver lake. This review is in regard to our most recent visit, I just wanted to compliment the team for pushing out 4 bowls of ramen, sides and appetizers so quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. Personally I like my pork ramen a bit spicier and was not disappointed. The restaurant itself is very clean and modern, and I think just about anyone can enjoy themselves here.
