A&w - Columbus

ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, there's a reason your lobby is closed, so much for sitting down and eating with your family anymore. Gotta yell from your window pointing the obvious that the lobby is closed after we already done pointed that out. Hopefully they put a new Manger in charge they'll keep losing a bunch of business if they keep those employees that or its just gonna be shut down. Sad so many people invest so little in their jobs anymore. I'll include what we would have spent as we're one of those cheaper by the dozen families but yeah won't ever return to this place.

The food was good, and the drive-through service was slower than I expected.

Drive Thur does take longer wait times but food is hot!

Cashier called a person at the drive thru and idiot after turning the mike off. Place is filthy and rundown. Attitudes are terrible. I ordered two hot dogs and had to wait 25 minutes. She told me the cook had to cook them but at least they would be fresh. Then a minute after that I watched the cook throw them in the microwave. I took two bites and left. They were terrible hot dogs. Who microwaves hot dogs in a restaurant? And to top it off I might have food poisoning.

The staff was less than attentive. And for being an A&W they only offer a very limited menu. It's a Long John Silver with a couple burgers. Everything was greasy. Not the typical LJS level, but even more so. I couldn't taste any of the food past the oil. I did the super sampler so I had a bit of everything but only tasted oil. I don't know if the oil was old or was too cool but it was unappetizing. We also treated ourselves to an apple pie shake. I had to go with a medium because they were out of small cups. I threw over half away. The vanilla ice cream was good, but the apples were on the tart side, and there was too much cinnamon for it to be an enjoyable shake. I expected crust pieces but didn't find any. Over all just a bummer of a stop.
