Omelets Etc. - Colorado Springs

2 visits here and I can comfortably say this is my favorite breakfast in the city. Prices are fair, service is great, and food is phenomenal. They promote the best green Chili Salsa in town, and I start to believe it. This will always be my place when I have time to kill and I want a delicious meal.

The food was great. I know this is gonna tear up some feathers... You can't claim worlds largest green Chile if you don't even know what it is. Green Chile is from New Mexico, it is a vegetable / pepper. You're not doing green Chile. You grow it, roast it, hack it and put it on your dishes. Whatever you are serving as homemade green Chile is what the people from New Mexico would know as a green Chilean stone. The attached picture is NOT Green Chile .

Our four-headed family enjoyed our experience in Omelets Etc. Monica was very helpful in suggestions about what to eat on the menu and also substitutions (e.g. pig ham for Turkey bacon). We appreciate restaurants that offer substitutions for our family. Thanks Monica! They are also a variety of food for children. We sat fast and after the order we received it in time. The Banana Caramel French Toast and the Savory Steak Omelets were very good!

Server was great, very attentive. Saw on Monday on the terrace. If this review was service/speed based 5/5, but the actual food was not the same. Steak (Steak Egg) tasted very strange. Green Chile Sauce was strange. Hashbrowns had no season. Pancakes were good.

As always an excellent experience at Omelets Etc. Service is always great and friendly and the food is quality. Try the sausage links they are tasteful, juicy and delicious. This is our way to breakfast at weekends and sometimes even during the week when we have enough time. There are many seats and the prices on the food surprise me every time the prices are on site.
