Restaurant bewertenWent to Veritas after my graduation for a lunch. The place was not packed, as I expected it to he during this time of the semester. The restaurant looked fancy with a bar in the centrw and tables all around. The menu was small and the dishes were costly. We could not vibe with the place so we left after taking a look at the menu.
Love, love this place! This is my must when I get to college station. I am especially a fan of their tasting menu (which they can make gluten-free and milk free if you give them advance notice). The tasting menu is a wonderful way to discover my new favorite dishes (especially fish dishes)! The quality of fish dishes here is particularly excellent. A dinner here costs a bit more, and dress is more formal, but the atmosphere is wonderful (live music), and the company, wines and food are divine! Just a few tips. Firstly, reservations are very encouraged and I would say that for groups greater than four are necessary. One of the reasons why I love this place so much is that they can accommodate my gluten-free, milk-free needs. If you want to make the tasting menu, and you have special diets, you need to give them time I think they said they needed 24 hours, so let them know when you book.
It was a great experience. We ordered a meal that surprised you with 6 different plates. Later in the meal the cook/owner came out and spoke to us. It was nice to actually thank someone who went to work and trouble in our meal. I think food tastes better when you put your heart in it and I'll say the cook did exactly that. Thanks again for being great.
We love this place! Great food, customer service is on point, nice quiet atmosphere for dinner and good drinks! This is our goal if we want a beautiful, romantic date night! There is also an outdoor terrace if you prefer it.
Locally owned by an Aggie, this restaurant and wine bar is definitely a place for a cook prepared meal to visit. We had followed the Tuna Appetizer by two main course recommendations from our server. We went with the lake Bass and Wagu beef. We also ordered the truffle Mac n cheese. The meal was to die, I recommend Veritas! We arrived at 5:45 a.m. on a Saturday, so the place began to take the reservations, therefore the empty restaurant pictures.
