The Pickled Perch - Colchester

Sitting here waiting for almost an hour for just burgers felt like we're being ignored when are order came out it wasn't right the server handled are food three differet switching it back and forth and she was not wearing any gloves. Got halfway through my burger and it was raw my girlfriend's Burger was burned will never go back there again

Really good local place, we had a great waitress and you can't beat the view. Only improvement I'd make is for sound, it gets really loud and you can't hear each other!Food: 5/5

This local restaurant offers authentic regional cuisine. I would recommend passing on the goulash unless you have a fondness for Hamburger Helper. The tacos were quite tasty. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

Nice spot, cute inside but small so need to be prepared to wait or make a reservation. Patio outside in the summer is blissful.Food: 5/5

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We waited at the entrance for 30 minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff, even though we had children with us who needed to eat. There was an open table that other customers had pushed together for our group, but the staff wouldn’t even glance our way as we patiently waited to be seated. Eventually, I approached a waitress to ask if we would be seated, and she curtly replied, “NO.” I then inquired why she couldn’t have informed us sooner, considering we had already waited for half an hour. Her answer was simply that “they are very busy.” If she had taken just two minutes to let us know about the extended wait, it could have saved us all a lot of frustration. To make matters worse, the restaurant didn’t seem very appealing; it was extremely loud and looked dirty.
