Vitos Restaurant & Pizzeria - Colborne

Went a couple weeks ago; was the worst ever. Been in this town all my life and they were known for the best pizza anywhere. Now it 's worse than the stuff in the frozen pizza dept. in the grocery store. Obviously cutting corners; but you shouldn 't do that with your flagship menu item. Asked the wife to stop by last night and pick up a family size fries and gravy. They weren 't cooked and only had a tiny dipping-sauce container of gravy for a couple plates full of fries. Went back down there to complain and the guy says that 'If I don 't like it I should go some where else '. Hard to run a restaurant with no customers; isn 't it? The people working there were polite; it 's the new owners that don 't get it. I told him that one bad customer equals ten. This is my review. And I will take his advice; there are other places in town. Didn 't even offer to refund my $12. Fool me twice; shame on me. Didn 't need the insult on top of it. Hope he goes out of business soon. Maybe someone better will take over.

Lots of pizza and lasagna.really good. Their Greek meal or chicken or pork Slovakia delicious. They have a really nice patio a great spot for a really cold drink. Around here everyone likes their lasagna whether veg or with meat or just vegetables.

I have eaten in Vitos many times and enjoyed every meal that I had there. The prices are really good. The staff are very helpful. From the soup or salad to the veal parmigiana and noodles, to hamburgers and fries. They have wonderful meals. The dining room is well lit and very comfortable. Their pizzas are fabulous... lots of cheese. If I had to complain, it would be the fact that they only serve instant decaf-coffee. So, I drink water instead.

We went as a family to Vito's tonight to have some dinner before going to look at a house in the area. We thought it would be nice to try a local restaurant. Big mistake!! We took our 12 year old son and 17 month old. When we got there and took a high chair to our table for the baby, we had to ask for a cloth to wipe down the high chair because it was all sticky. After ordering our food we sat and waited knowing we had an hour before our meeting with the realtor. After 30 minutes of waiting we had no food served to us, even though people who had come in after us (clearly locals the waitress knew) were being served food that they had order just minutes before it being served to them. The waitress told us at least 3 times that our food would be out next and it never happened. We ended up leaving with 2 hungry kids who had to sit through a tour of a house on empty tummies. And to top it off.....they didn't even offer us our drinks for free....they made us pay $14 For 3 cans of pop and an apple juice. We can't even rate the food.....because we did not end up eating a thing. Horrible service. We will never be back, even if we move to the area. This restaurant will let you sit there and wait while they serve their local buddies. I wish I could have given this a lower rating!!

Grabbed takeout and the pizza was amazing! Definitely stopping in again next time I'm in colbourne ????
