Restaurant bewertenFriendly atmosphere, very kind staff. everything we have taken was great, a real local cuisine and tradition.
Me and my husband August we went to eat with a smarbox case we ate from appetizer to the second we were really happy eating really well we will definitely return very friendly staff
Save your money and drive down to Cogne to check out those restaurants. The food at Belvedere was almost inedible. Chalk it up as perhaps the worst restaurant outing ever. Salt was the flavouring of everything except the soup which actually had no flavour except Lima beans. Ugh.
This wasn’t terrible and if this was the right location for you to eat lunch then I would not say, “don’t go”, but it was certainly below average compared to the other places we had lunch while skiing. One of the waitresses was friendly but the rest were grumpy. Lots of tables were reserved so calling in on the off chance didn’t seem to be welcomed. The fish and chips were particularly poor (3 x 30g of fish in huge batter). Burger ok but generally lacking compared to other places that we have eaten. We went on a snowy day when all outside tables were empty but it took about 20 mins to have our order taken and longer for food to arrive.
First visit with our Italian speaking family for the early evening fixed menu brought forth good food and reasonable service. The second time with more friends the food wasn't as good and the service poorer. Just the two of us went a third time for the later evening a la carte menu. One of us didn't want a starter but the one was served with the others main course but no vegetables. After a long delay the other main course arrived via a grumpy waiter notable for his stale aftershave! Still no vegetables which we then cancelled. The requested bill was a pencil scribbled total on a scrap of paper. So disappointing as this is the only restaurant nearby where we were staying in Gimillan.
