Restaurant bewertenDelicious meal to celebrate my birthday this noon, an excellent table, very good products, a trolley of desserts always faithful to his reputation: we have spent a very pleasant moment, congratulations to the taches family to keep the family spirit of this very good restaurant where we celebrated our wedding meal 9 years ago.
A very pleasant setting, a pleasant welcome, and good small dishes with fresh products. A pleasure! Thank you and very soon!
We had lunch here on a chilly Saturday in July. The general ambiance is gloomy and rather old-fashioned, even with the lamps on the tables, it was very dark. The service was very efficient, but rather formal. The owner was very friendly and apologised for not greeting us in person when we arrived! She also appeared once we’d had the appetizers and delivered a short lecture on the seasonality of shellfish…The appetizers were OK, but the choux puff must have been in the fridge because it had gone soggy. The mise en bouche was a delicious gazpacho, followed quite a lot later by a starter of lobster soup garnished with a few langoustine and some pieces of asparagus. The soup was very creamy and the garnish was severely overcooked, any more and it would have been a purée. We had a main of turbot with spinach and samphire which was OK, although the edge of the fish was gelatinous, so we wondered if it had been frozen. There is a dessert trolley with a wide choice and you can have as many as you like, but we didn’t think they were homemade, we stuck to one dessert each but the people on the other table had at least four!! Generally, the food didn’t have the freshly-cooked feel that you would expect at the price. We also had one beer, two glasses of a Charentais wine and a small bottle of mineral water. The bill came to an eye-watering 174 euros!
A well-filled plate, quality, nice people a nice evening with friends. drop the cognac Sweeps, with moderation
The place is pretty. But, the exploitation of the place is really waste. I had room 24 on the street. I was worried about the noise: the boss told me that after the debauchery, the street would be very quiet. It's nothing more, with the particle, the window would necessarily be open. In fact, at the time of the regulation of my note, the receptionist said to me elegantly: the 24th, so say, it has to knock, it's full west .quant at the restaurant, it's notorious incompetence with fierce prices. a small piece of bar, a sticky risotto for 28€. cheese tray at 13€. 1/2 san pellegrino for 6€. breakfast is at 13€: exorbitant for quality
