Restaurant bewertenI wish we had spent more time here than we traveled through Couer d alene. Nice staff and coffee and breakfast, including pastries!
Bakery by the lake carries our favorite coffee and it was time in stock. While we enjoyed their delicious pumpkin spice cookies!
Let me begin by saying we had two good turkey panini sandwiches... Buuutttt also ordered a grilled cheese on white bread I thought would taste great because their other sandwiches are good... this sandwich was for my daughter who is 13 years old... I hope I took the pictures I made to show how it came. I didn't pay attention to the price, but I'm sure it was more than a few dollars. That is why I think it is important to show this evaluation... So people know what they get... Let me just say I was shocked at the low quality of the sandwich. It's paper thin and hard like a skirt... My daughter took a bite and had to tear him up to get the bite off the sandwich! Let me just say that this was our lunch and an order so we are not able to go back to deal with this issue. But my daughter didn't eat lunch and that really upset me. I stop here as the pictures speak a thousand words. Oh, and the paper was stuck on the sandwich so it's gross! I have also included pictures of the sandwich compared to my little vape, just to show how thin this sandwich really is.
Love this place! You have some wheat free pastries and cookies (can not claim strict GF, but it works for me), and the stuff is actually quite well dared! They also serve Cafe Umbria and with a good barista the coffee is amazing! Love that it is through the park and the atmosphere is beautiful inside and outside on the terrace. Also my sister was a big fan of the peach tea and thought it was cool that they gave you a free refill.
The caprese grilled sandwich was spectacular. I'd never had such a sandwich and it awesome
