Hungry Bear - Cody

This isn 't 'fast ' food, but it is delicious food. We 've been twice so far and it is now our favorite place in town. We 've had pasta, salad, and pizza and all were excellent. This is clearly a family run restaurant and they are all friendly and professional. The wait was a bit long, but we were ordering during peak dining hours, but that is to be expected. It seems like they know most of the diners by name, so you get the idea, this is where the locals go when they want a break from the kitchen.

Up and at em! Opens at 7am. There was four of us that stopped in for a quick breakfast, before hitting the dusty trail. Smaller in size, service was prompt and pleasant. We all had something well different and after placing our order breakfast was served within ten minutes. Everything was very tasty and portion sizes were perfect. Well worth the stop.

We found this place our last night in Cody. We wish we'd found it our first day! We love mom pop small businesses. Especially this one! Great, friendly service (met one of the owners, Alicia. Super cool, down to . My son got a 16 peperoni pizza, my wife got a 12 BBQ chicken pizza, while I got a 16 veggie. All were steaming hot and delicious! The reviews are accurate! The Hungry Bear serves some awesome food! forget the Thai, Chinese buffet, grandma's places. They are nothing special and don't compare to the HB!
