Restaurant bewertenPersonally I wouldn't return. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich and was highly disappointed...the chicken was dry and bland especially for jerk chicken and there was nothing on the sandwich to add flavor. Dry roll with chicken, LTO, and cheese. I also ordered the loaded chili fries and they were just regular, nothing special. My boyfriend ordered the smokey tasting which was overall okay (he also ordered the loaded pulled pork fries which are not pictured but they were good). The ribs and pulled pork were good but the brisket just tasted like smoke and nothing else, I couldn't even have a second bite. Sides with the smokey tasting were fine but again nothing special. On the other hand you do get a ton of food for the money and it doesn't necessarily taste bad. If you're looking for an okay meal for a fair price and a ton of food then this is the place for you. However I would not recommend it.
Pleasantly surprised. I haven't been here in years, at least since the current owners have been running the restaurant. First, on a nice day, this is the nicest place in the area to eat with the outdoor patio. Beer selection is pretty good. Food options are what you'd expect for a place like this and the prices are reasonable. Burger was pretty good, didn't taste like a frozen patty from the Sysco truck, overall between the bun and bacon on it, I would easily get it or another burger again. Also got the brisket. Really big serving of brisket. It was good also, not the best brisket I've had but definitely wasn't bad and worth getting. Garlic mashed potatoes were ok, nothing bad about them but not a lot of flavor. There are very few good places to eat in the entire county. I'm glad I tried this place again after years, this will be my go to restaurant in cobleskill.
The food was spectacular! Best burger I've had in a while. The server was also great very attentive and nice. Would come back and recommend.
We owned a Restaurant ourselves. This was a pleasant surprise in Cobleskill, NY. Just wanting to be served amid the same Covid Nonsense, we were pleasantly surprised. Even though inside dining was available, the night was fairly cool and comfortable, the seating deck overlooked the golf course. Ordered the first two specials we heard. Stuffed Pork Chops and Seared Scallops in Creamy Pesto with Pistachio. A dish similar to one we served. All I can say is outstanding!!! We will be back. If you go. Ask for Theresa. She was very amiable, courteous and just plain sweet. Zack the owner, spoke with us, which we believe is a deal maker or breaker with restaurateurs!! What a Deal Maker!! We Highly Recommend!! Enjoy and when in Coby. Stop in!
What a nice surprise to have lunch here today. Our waitress was so friendly and everything we ate was great. Started with the homemade soups; French onion and Manhattan clam chowder both hit the spot on this cold winter day. Next our group enjoyed a cheese burger with fries, buffalo chicken sandwich with crispy, delicious fries, spicy brisket sandwich with macaroni salad and a veggie quesadilla. No left overs, we ate every bite!!! Good thing we got here today they are closing for the winter, but we look forward to returning in April when they open again so that we can try more items on the menu especially the prime rib dinner and the salad bar.
