Been eating at spangenbergs for years and years and years. Food is top quality. Service is fast and friendly. We will be dining there this evening. Prices are better than most drive-in food restaurants.

The food is always great and the ice cream, too! Outside dining makes it more traditional. A throwback to another era!

I ordered two small hot fudge sundaes. The menu listed prices for sundaes as $4.50 and $5.00 each, but I was charged over $12 for the two sundaes. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was informed that the extra charge was for the topping. Can someone clarify what exactly constitutes a sundae? Shouldn't it include ice cream, a topping, whipped cream, and a cherry?
