Le Bistrot Chez Les Garcons - Cluny

I notice that this bistro has come in for some stick from some reviewers but I have been here 3 times in the last 3 years and am very fond of it. The food is really not bad and the atmosphere is quirky a bit Jean Genet and not to everyone's taste but very french. A great place for a drink, to try local bottled beer and fill up on the generously portioned, reasonably priced dishes.

I went there with friends after reading excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. There isn't anything we liked. Decoration is a matter of taste and doesn't really matter of course. But food was disgusting — we tried ravioles and salads. Ravioles were heavy and fatty and the salads were tasteless. We went out without trying the desserts. The place is more a bar than a restaurant. There was a very noisy and loud crowd. We were stunned that so many reviews praised the place.

We were very happy to find this nice bistro, with quirky decoration, welcoming staff and delicious food. Good value!

I mean, it doesn't pay for a mine, we met a mad client of his croque, sir. banco and we weren't disappointed. menu at 13€ flat entrance dessert and what dish, an exceptional mustard pad ... all this in a room with seventy decor, and very funny toilets. very good time not to miss
