The Fish Basket Longstrand - Clonakilty

So I am looking for first-class fishing and chips to find too good value. over 40 miles traveled to check this place today. me and three kids. After a nice walk on the beach we drove in. greeted by a nice girl who took our order outside and organized a table for us. I ordered the fish and chips themselves and was told that it was lemon sole and squid today. she told me I had both, also two children fish and chips ordered and the burger for the non-fish food. blew immediately and when that came to eat, it was amazing. lemon sole and squid perfectly fresh and broken light and crispy. also child dishes were really good, they were lovely. burger also very tasty. all for 37 euro. for me this place is no. 1 for what it does. followed by salt in kilmore quay and monks lane timoleague. keep the good workers and never let them fall the standards. we need these options along our coast.

Great location and outdoor seating to have a view of the beach. perfrct for a summer day. I have fish and chips and was fab. they also have these cool buzzer dinge, so when they order, they wait outside, and when the summer vibrants, the eating is ready to collect. fish and chips were very tasty and recommend a visit for the prospect and eating.

We went there to Mother's Day and it was pretty packed. I had to wait for an hour, but it was good. probably the most beautiful (and freshest) fish and chips I had for years. The fish sharing box is huge and even the children fish and chips is quite large and was sworn by my year old. the staff was very friendly and I must give the coffee a special mention. very delicious! we will definitely come back.

The food is exceptional - even my mom, who typically doesn't like fish, raves about their fish dishes. In addition to their seafood offerings, they also have an array of mouthwatering cakes, with the chocolate Guinness cake being a personal favorite of mine. Their breakfast options are also noteworthy, particularly the outstanding pancakes. While they don't provide traditional table service, they do give you a buzzer to notify you when your food is ready for pickup. Unfortunately, I didn't have any pictures of the fish or pancakes to share, but rest assured they are worth trying for yourself.
