Restaurant bewertenI like you can order online very easily. Food was very tasteful. The interior looks like it used to be a Chinese restaurant in the 80s and they never updated it.
My fiancée and I eat here at least once a week. Our favorites are the comminuted lentil soup (the best in the area, including Dearborn!, the Falafal (delicioussSS, the spicy hummus (has a beautiful complexity to it, the hot mint tea, and the mujadarrah without yogurt sauce and the mixed grilled vegetables. Typically, the service is quite fast and we can be in and out to eat with an invoice under $15 for both of us in half an hour. We have never tried to do a take-out order, but often see a number of people coming and for it, sometimes it seems to take a while until they get food, so we always have the feeling that it is just faster to dinate.
I LOVE the food in here. I just LOVE IT!!!!TAUM and fresh off the oven bread is to die for.Vegetarian options: You can ask for a vegetarian plate, they will accommodate your request. Now, having said that, IF you are a total vegan, please remember that there are restaurants especially open for you. I have a niece that is totally vegan, and I had to put her in her place when she expect a meat, salads, seafood restaurant to give her special treatment. I always respect other needs, but they also have to respect other people needs as well.Hummus, grilled vegetables, rice, fries, hot pita bread, toum, babaganush, lentil soup, falafel are great options for vegans.Kid-friendliness: Fries, hot bread, toum, chicken, and more.Parking: Parking on this strip mall is no problem. It is on Gratiot, and I have never had any issues parking.
The food was delicious. We ordered way too much but took leftovers home.Food: 5/5
The shawarma had extremely soggy bread. It was very wet and it was falling apart. This place usually does a good job but it’s been disappointing recently.
