Restaurant bewertenThe experience was quite simple, consisting solely of rice, sub-meat, and Tziki sauce—nothing else. The gyro sub-meat was tough and excessively dry, likely overcooked. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.
I had a fantastic first experience at the restaurant! I ordered the kofteh platter, baklava, and gyro over rice, and everything was excellent. The baklava was particularly decadent—truly the best I've ever had, making the visit well worth it! Although I had a long drive home afterward, I couldn't resist eating the gyro over rice right away. However, I found the gyro meat a bit tough, and it would have benefited from some sauces, like hummus. Overall, a simple yet delightful meal! This update reflects my thoughts from a previous review dated February 25, 2022.
The food is quite good, but the menu is quite limited. Additionally, despite what the menu claims, they do not offer vegan cheesecake.
Enjoyed a lentil soup, çiğ köfte, and baklava during a stopover here. The baklava, in particular, was outstanding! The staff was super friendly and the space was open and not too busy.
I had the curry over coconut rice and it was very good. The baklava is excellent. I didn’t call ahead but would recommend doing so because the trip was worth it, but if they are closed the neighborhood is otherwise a bit of a vegan desert. Next time I’ll also order the kofte because it looked really good too.
