Iichiya Sushi - Cliffside Park

Delicious food and fantastic staff! Thank you so much! We will definitely be visiting this place often.

During our visit, we ordered the Sushi for Two. The sushi and sashimi were presented in a large boat, and the portion sizes were generous. However, the sushi rice was disappointing—it was overly soft and lacked texture.

The food is fantastic! The Sushi for Two (the boat) was excellent and a great value for the Gold Coast. However, I noticed a really unpleasant odor coming from the carpeting, so I’ve switched to takeout for now. It seems like the carpet and furnishings are the same as when the previous owner closed down four years ago.

Just walked in today and ordered a Shrimp Tempura Bento Box Lunch. This order came in with a Salad with Ginger Dressing and Miso Soup. The food was fresh and well prepared and presented. The young server was attentive and friendly. I am definitively coming back to explore more items from the menu.

I got a copy of their menu in my mailbox so I decided to give this restaurant a try. Their menu is filled with typos. It says their lunch special runs from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. But their restaurant opens at 12:00PM? So I went there at 12:00PM. The place was closed. Wtf kinda restaurant is this? The Burger King down the block is run better than this place.
