Restaurant bewertenThis is the second time we've been here with family. The resort has many lodging options from lodge rooms to houses. The amenities include everything you might expect from pools and spas to golf carts and playgrounds as well as an extensive set of trails for you to enjoy the beauty of the Cascade Mountains.I've only posted a couple of nature pics, but the swim and fitness center with two large water slides for the indoor pool and a large outdoor pool area is absolutely wonderful. There is a restaurant at the lodge, food trucks and even a small winery Swiftwater. Plenty to do for everyone!
Overall, it's been a great place for our young family. We had some bad luck with our last trip and wildfire smoke. The resort closed all of the outdoor pools and activities. Golf and bike rentals were still available but nothing for the 7 and 5 year old. Hoped for some more activities but still a good experience.
We stayed in a vacation home. It was beautiful and well cared for. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. The front desk was able to get us more of whatever we needed. If you have a bigger group I highly recommend it.
We arrived Saturday. Every outdoor pool was shut down due to air quality. You could golf, you could ride bikes, you just could not swim outside. I would say be careful of August due to wildfires. Our washing machine in our room was broken. A board on the cabinets by the sink just fell off and I reported to housekeeping but nothing was done. At checkout I was told I would get $50 credit for the washer but did not get it emailed to me as promised. I had a scallop dinner at Portals and for $44 got exactly 3 scallops on some weird cheese and bacon bit base. Housekeeping did not come to my room everyday and we had to scrounge the halls for them to get towels and more coffee and toilet paper. The good is the winery which was excellent and they do put out provisions for smores at 7. They have an indoor pool which saved the visit for my child, but with everyone forced to use the indoor pool they only had one lifeguard on duty most of the time watching the water slide and the pool. On site dining is very limited.
Despite the location and very nice view, I have been having terrible experience with the customer service. I was planning to work remotely during my stay and attend some important meetings but the wifi in my room was very very bad. Although the lobby wifi was good enough but working at the lobby all the time was not ideal. I brought up to the front desk 8-9 times since the first day, requested a room change also. They neither fixed the wifi problem in my room nor changed my room. They claimed that IT checked the problem but nothing got fixed at the end. They kept saying sorry and blamed the location of the resort for the wifi problem. When I said it is working good enough at the lobby they claimed that it is by luck!! Very very disappointed with the customer service.
