Zeoli's Modern Italian - Clawson

I'd like to say first that the service was great, no issues there. Very nice and attentive staff. The food however was just okay. It was nothing terrible, just very run of the mill. Tasted a bit like an Olive Garden clone to be honest, just more expensive. I don't think I'd recommend this place to anybody, but would be apathetic if someone brought me here.

We were promptly shown to a table by the hostess, as the restaurant was not full...then proceeded to sit without water or even a greeting for 20+ minutes, while 2 parties seated after us had their orders taken. Finally, the hostess came over and asked if anyone had been by. She went and alerted a member of the waitstaff, who still didn't come over. We gave up and left!

I liked the eggplant wrap! I want to try the muffaletta.

Cool little family restaurant. good atmosphere. server awesome. great eating at a great price.

Friendly staff and a nice owner. high quality dishes a lot taste and a good value. replacement zucchini nudeln for a low carb option.
