My mother, son, and I just had dinner at this restaurant today, and I am incredibly impressed! The service was excellent - friendly, fast, and accurate. And the food was absolutely fantastic! This is without a doubt the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant. The Seafood Linguine is a must try. The Alfredo sauce was phenomenal, so delicious that I didn't even need to add my Let's Get Alfredolicious Salt to it. We each ordered something different and all agreed that it was the best we've ever had. I cannot give this place enough praise and stars!

Generous portions of homemade food and welcoming staff! We ordered the cold plate special and the land and sea platter. The cold plate was delicious, and the land and sea platter had perfectly cooked home fries, crispy battered fish, and flavorful seasoned chicken.

Your typical home-style Newfie restaurant. We had cod cheeks, club house, liver and onions, and the cheesecake. The home fries were perfect No complaints.

The food was just as it was described on the menu, but the service was a bit slow. Despite what others have said, I found the time from ordering to eating to be quite reasonable. If you're in search of an authentic Newfoundland dining experience, this is the place for you.

After much searching, I decided on this restaurant on a whim because I was tired of looking. As I entered, a family was leaving, laughing and patting their full bellies on the way to their car. The mother exclaimed, "OMG, that was good!" So I thought, "Great, that's exactly what I was hoping for!" They were praising the Sunday special, the traditional Newfoundland Dinner, and strongly suggested I try it. Unfortunately, they had run out, so I opted for the liver and onions instead. I was not let down! For $16.99, I received a generous portion and excellent service.
