Dustabella's Grill - Clarenville

This was my third time eating at Dustabella's. First two times were two years ago with a party of four for lunch and this time was a party of three for supper. So far every single meal of all three visits has been absolutely fantastic and everyone has had something different on the menu. The prices are excellent, the presentation is good and the taste is awesome! It's one of my favourite spots on the island. I love this place. Also, Jason, our Server was super helpful and courteous! I wish I lived closer to Clarenville so I could eat here more often. I just love this restaurant!

I went to this restaurant with a tour group and had dinner and breakfast. Before dinner, we had a welcome reception with music performed by a talented young girl. The dinner buffet was great, even for someone like me with food allergies. The beef was incredibly tender and delicious. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection of choices. The service was also excellent.

We stopped in for lunch during our travels and shared a Chicken Club Wrap. We were very pleased when we received the meal because they had split it in two plates. And didn’t have to pay for the extra plate like some other restaurant plus most places don’t split the meal for you. The wrap was delicious and the service was very good too.

We ate two dinners and two breakfasts at Dustabella's and were pleased with the quality of the food and the selection. At dinner we sampled the Cod au Gratin, the Seafood Chowder and salad with grilled chicken. The Cod au Gratin was rich and tasty. The fish is flaked - no chunks, but filling. Seafood Chowder was also quite rich and had a variety of fish and scallops. Breakfasts were basic and well cooked. At both of the dinners and one of the breakfasts there was only one person trying to serve the entire dining room. That was quite inadequate. Long wait for service.

This probably one of the few places in Clarenville where you have a choice of something other than deep fried (although their deep fried fish looked great.) I hadn't been here in a couple of years so thought I'd give it a try. The pan fried cod was very well done. The salmon was cooked too much. French onion soup was passable but onions were not cooked enough. Wait staff were friendly and the atmosphere is pretty good.
