Restaurant bewertenI had several questions about Treintasillas before I was the only dolls of cerrada's experience we have time to try. First, with 30 seats, is it really a traditional doll Cerradas? How many people can comfortably sit 30 for a meal at home? Second, why are the latest TripAdvisor reviews a few years old? Surely we had a pandemic, but surely people were here recently. These questions asked this the third dolls cerradas, which I tried to book during our visit. Ultimately, we might have been lucky that the first two have not broken out because our experience in Treintasillas was excellent. Every dish was delicious, although the menu included some things I was a little skeptical (blue cheese ice cream? and I'm so glad we shot this place, although the menu didn't talk to us on paper. Excellent flavors, and well balanced in most cases (the dessert was a little oversweet for my taste, but I understand Argentinians have serious sweet tooth (Teeth? . To make the experience even better, the servers were wonderful: friendly, appealing and more than happy to chat. Both people who took care of us spoke excellent English, including the young woman who claimed she was not very professional with the language. Great food, great people, really could not ask for more. First Argentine dinner of our trip, but they put the bar up for the rest of our time here!
We came to an anonymous black door in an anonymous street. It's just a stupid beginning. But from the moment we entered, we were received with such warmth and enormous hospitality that we could not fail what came next. The food was undoubtedly the finest through a margin we enjoyed in Argentina. The Pesto infused Burrata starter melted in our mouth. The proposed white wine tasted from flowers from the plains and complemented Burrata brilliantly. The main course of the lemon and mustard marinaded pork served on a delicious bed of sweet potato with a spicy cherry Chutney was simply the best. A light sorbet followed to clean the palate and then the wonderfully caramelized pineapple with red fruit cream for dessert. Book our table again. Thank you.

I had a truly memorable birthday in Buenos Aires. My wife and I met Ezequiel Gallardo, the chef of Treintasillas, a 'closed door ' restaurant, who took us around the food markets in Chinatown. He bought the ingredients for our lunch. Then we went back to his restaurant where we helped him prepare our wonderful 3 course meal mushroom shrimp risotto/Chinese pork/caramelised peach with vanilla bean ice cream and almonds. All this plus wine was served up to us by his Sous Chef in the kitchen. Unforgettable.
I loved that we simply sat down and had no idea what we were going to get. Every single dish that came out for our 5 course dinner was impeccable. Great lighting, nice mood, and great vibe sitting in someones living room. Would totally recommend!
