This is a lovely location with excellent service. The staff, particularly Neil, were friendly and helpful in recommending a cigar to try. It's a very enjoyable spot that would be worth a visit for any cigar enthusiast in London, or even just for a drink. The cognac menu is very impressive.

Last night, the manager of the cigar lounge at The Lanesborough completely ignored us when we tried to order drinks, walking past us as if we weren't even there. Despite the room being relatively empty, he showed no interest in serving us. I had brought my own favourite cigar, not realizing it went against their policy. This was my first time visiting, as most cigar lounges I've been to allow patrons to smoke their own cigars. Although my friend had ordered cigars from the lounge, the manager was incredibly rude. Instead of politely informing me of the policy, he lectured me in a condescending manner. When I went to the front desk to complain to his superior, I was shocked when the manager physically threatened me and threatened to have me thrown out by security. The lack of customer service displayed by this manager on Wednesday, March 23rd was unacceptable. Such behavior should not be tolerated in a reputable establishment like The Lanesborough. Moreover, we were mistakenly charged for drinks we never received after deciding to leave following this incident. I have filed an official complaint with the front office manager and am awaiting a proper response. Stay tuned for updates.
