Restaurant bewertenThe dining room in the upper floor with bed linen is too cramped. eating is good and the personal friendly, if sometimes overrising. on the ground floor also quite cramped, so avoid when they hope for a private chat. another one of the big gastropubs in marylebone.
It's already been one since I sung at the duchess. my last reminder of my earlier visit is a gast, an ordinary healthy and extremely law-scattering citizen who tells a being field-esque story of skulduggerie and great magic with him, a more dry pure one
The Guests: Rutton, Ted, Eve, Richard, Jason, Mark, Patrick The Cost: About £40 per person The Context: Jason, visiting from New York, organized the get-together at the restaurant.
Nice place, expecially the upstair dining room. The food: One of the most amazing Sunday Roast ever: the beef was delicious and the duck fat roasted potatos were simply to die for. The pudding (apple and blackberry crumble with custard) was good but nothing more. The service; quite friendly. I will go there again.
A very delicious place in Marylebone area is The Duke of Wellington with its typical British Cuisine. The dining room's menu is quite vast and it is the perfect place where to eat something hot, especially when outside you can feel the seasonal wintry air is coming along. I had a roast fillet with red wine and polenta. The dish was very succulent and the polenta quite nice and crispy The ambience is classic, and I particularly like it as it seems the inside of a cozy pretty house. In terms of prices, the restaurant is quite fine. You should expect to spend 60 for two Do check availability before going!
