Mulgrave Country Club - City of Knox

The staff at this restaurant have always been very good, and I have been coming here for a long time. However, my recent experience was the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken parmesan was a processed, dry, overcooked piece of chicken with hardly any sauce, a meager piece of dry ham, and cheese. The chips were undercooked. The only thing that was edible was the side salad. I am disappointed and wondering what is happening here.

Twenty of us enjoyed a delicious lunch with great service from Fleur at our tables. Our meals were excellent and we had no issues. Well done!

Their meals have become decidely worse over the past month. Seniors Battered fish on last visit was inedible and accompanying salad had over-ripe tomato which was slimy. Have decided to give this a miss for a while to see if the quality improves at all. Have been a member at venue for over 50 years.

The meal here is okay but much nicer meals served elsewhere. The deserts in the glass cake shelves looked lovely but were so very stale and some of us struggled though the cake just for the sugar fix. One lady didnt even taste it but pushed it away.

Ordered an item on the Menu which I was immediately informed with a complete lack of care, was NOT AVAILABLE My second choice turned out to be another disaster, being the beer battered fish, the coating of which was OOZING with OIL in which it had been cooked, and was a dark brown 80% batter with hardly any fish (obviously out of a packet) and the chips were soggy and tasteless. This is my second failed meal in as many months. Disgraceful.
