Restaurant bewertenI came for restaurant week with some friends, I steal from arnold and say I will be back. the whole meal was a bargain. the suppe was very tasteful, the kalb was happy on a teller and the tiramisu rounded the meal the gentle touch of a gifted baked cook.
What a beautiful surprise! my friend and I had lunch last week and do not believe the negative reviews. it is a beautiful place in the inner, tastefully decorated and appointed, evening music in the background, table linen and serviettes. we were greeted by the owner frau sasha, who was very friendly and friendly and we sat wherever we decided. they have a nice lunch menu, very cheap. I had the chicken marsala and it was very tasty and well prepared and came to dip with an salad and warm brot and butter or olive oil. the salat was fresh and came with a house italian dressing. my friend had a glass of wine and the price was reasonable. I would recommend this well-run family-run facility that offers everyone a romantic evening or lunch. sasha also showed us her functional room at the top, which was also beautifully decorated and had its own bar. if they need business restaurants, they go to the olive garden or applebee’s, but if they are one of those who enjoy an intimate culinary experience with great food, fast and friendly service and great ambiente, they come here. they won't regret it, and they could see us there because we're going back.
We celebrated the upcoming high time of our sohne with the rehearsal in the upper floor banquet room. the atmosphere was intimate and delightful. the service was excellent and inconspicuous. the food was from this world. we had many of the city guests included in the celebration and they were all very impressed by the meal and service.
We had to wait 10+ minutes just to be greeted. I was freezing as the door is close by. The tables are almost on top of each other- too cramped. We have had better Italian food. Disappointing. However, the wait staff was very friendly.
The service was outstanding. I am looking forward to returning to the Albany area on business so I can enjoy another dining experience at V&R Ristorante. When I visited there last it was with a very special individual. The service that we received was unparallel. The staff there stayed after closing time as to not rush us and provided us with a very quaint, private setting with excellent food and great wine. A must when in the Albany area!
