Restaurant bewertenThe pizza was lovely and the risotto was good. Have been noticing this restaurant for a long time and it was ok but a little too pricy. Maybe next time with a friend to try other things.
Had a lovely $32 banquet lunch for nine. Plenty of pizza and pasta - all delicious. Great service and atmosphere. A fantastic place for a fun work lunch.
I ordered a 'medium' pizza which is actually a small size everywhere else at a cost of $23. Thought the pizza was average especially considering that they advertise that they are Artisan pizza makers! Would recommend you look elsewhere for a good pizza. Won't be going back.
After eating at Briscola on a semi-regular basis for some time, I took my family there for my sister’s birthday. I am incredibly disappointed, and frankly, humiliated that I had made the recommendation to eat here. When I made the booking for eleven people, I was told that it was not possible to order al a carte, that our only option was to choose a banquet. I chose the option advertised as an assortment of pizzas and pastas. I didn’t understand this at the time to mean that we would not have the opportunity to select the pizzas and pasta that we wanted to eat. Instead, we were served whatever the kitchen had slapped together. This “banquet” option was $35 per person - a total of $385 - for four small mediocre pizzas, two bowls of pasta, and one green salad between eleven people. The one piece of pizza I ate was average. When we made mention that the food was completely inadequate for the price, the owner spent about twenty minutes arguing that he wouldn’t discount the price because charging these prices “funds his lifestyle” – as he expressed it. Surely, if one’s lifestyle were funded by hospitality, they would make it their business to ensure repeat customers have a good experience. This used to be a place that I would recommend to friends and family – it’s become one that I will tell people to actively avoid. A solidly disappointing evening. .
