Restaurant bewertenIt was a 30-minute drive for me, but it was definitely worth it. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. I was really surprised, especially since the staff were a couple of young kids, probably around 19 to 23. The chicken and gravy were amazing, and the peach cobbler was delicious as well!
Since we were in a hurry, I opted for the special, which was country fried chicken with two sides and a roll. My coworker went for the chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Our food was packed and ready for takeout in under ten minutes. Both portions were generous and around $10 each. The country fried steak consisted of two chicken tenders smothered in gravy. Unlike processed or pressed chicken, these were real chicken breasts prepared just like you would at home. The chicken was crispy, although we both felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. The green beans, on the other hand, were tasty and well-seasoned. My only issue was that my meal came in a single to-go tray without dividers, which meant the green bean juice spilled over a bit. Thankfully, we were only a few minutes from our destination, so I managed to separate them on the way. Next time, I'm definitely going to try a burger and onion rings because they looked incredible. They also offer a wide variety of sides and tempting desserts. If it weren't Lent, I would have treated myself to a slice of blackberry cobbler or cherry pie. If you're ever near Cincinnati, make sure to stop by this local treasure—you won't regret it!
Fantastic food at great prices! The staff is cheerful and welcoming. So far, I've found the best Hoggie in Cincinnati here. I'll definitely be visiting a few times a week to sample the whole menu! The photo shows half of my Hoggie.
I love this place absolutely. my wife goes for the pineapple on the head cake, which is only available on Thursdays and Fridays. it sells quickly. they have an excellent customer service and the hunch is always fresh, no matter what time of day. we drive from alexandria to enjoy this little place.
That was my first time to eat here. my son and I love the roasted chicken since it was recommended to me by my parents who all love their food, especially their world-famous chicken and have eaten there for almost 35 years. I know I'll be back soon. I was just blown away from the price, it was very reasonable for the great meal I got. it cost only $16 for me and my son to eat there. I was very surprised that it was only $8 mäuse a box what?s in a box they ask well that would be 2 pieces world famous huh, a side of the koleslaw, a side of the kartoffels and chicken hard and a very soft evening meal. I must say it was the best huh I ever tasted, and my son said the same, so if they get the chance to stop and either eat or take it out, I highly recommend it.
