Domus Paradisi - Cigognola

We had a wonderful, unforgettable evening. The degustazione menu was excellent a varied choice of local specialities plus a few, much appreciated local facts). The food, the wine , the service and the atmosphere were all perfect Thank you for making our evening very special.

We went to Domus Paradisi for a special event. We were two families to celebrate our children's graduation. The weather was so bad (too foggy) and it was impossible to stay outside so the owner prepared us two rooms to hold all the people. In the first one, parents stayed comfortably while in the second room young people could stay all together managing their habits and speeches. Non-one of the waiters complained about the confusion that was naturally created from time to time and all of them accepted the spirit of the “on going” party. The food was excellent, I particularly appreciated the “brasato” but I can affirm that all was rising to the maximum you expect in such occasion. Wine produced by the owner was very good and at the end, cakes have accommodated most demanding palates. Great day, great place and great food. Thanks to Domus Paradisi!!!

This restaurant will forever go down in history as one of the best places I've ever been. Everything from the atmosphere.. to the staff.. to the food.. was SUPERB. Tino did a fantastic job at making this American girl (and her father) feel like a part of his very own family. We enjoyed several dishes made with the utmost love and care, and I cannot thank Tino and his staff enough for giving me one of the best, most unique experiences of my life. Put this restaurant at the top of your list!! If you enjoy fine dining with a home-y atmosphere... it's a MUST!

Domus Paradisi is located in a small town at the Oltrepo Pavese, a nice rural area near Pavia, Italy, were excellent wines are produced. We went there for Christmas Lunch. The place was very nice and the lunch superb. It consisted of welcome wine, antipasto, and a 4-course meal enough for a lion. All local dishes, including ravioli all Brassato and cappone, ending with panetone and a kind of profiterole. Excellent service, with this touch only present in family places. I recommend the restaurant very much. Excellent food, very good service and a rustic but very elegant decoration.
