Casa Del Rio - Christiansburg

It's a very big space and at 11:30 I was the only person there. Food was good the waitperson was not that attentive but she was pleasant. I didn't really care for the salsa bar not my thing. I'm an older person it with hard to read what was on the bar. The prices were a little higher then I expected because the website had not been updated.Parking: Be careful driving through the parking lot because it's in need of repair.

We enjoyed a really nice quiet meal of street tacos and the waitress was energetic and very pleasant. We also enjoyed the selection at the salsas bar! Remember this place!

We wanted to give it a try under new management. Unfortunately it was awful. Insanely loud music to where you cannot even think clearly. Slow service, Togo menus that you need a magnifying glass to read for dine in, menus do not match their own social media. Menu items do not match food received, missing items, and to top it all off no flavor to the food at all.Vegetarian options: None on menu

Maybe they were having an off day, but nothing seemed to go right for a business lunch. We were given a basket of chips to go with the salsa bar, but the chips were literally crumbs. We asked for another basket of chips because we wanted to make use of the salsa bar, but the chips weren't delivered to us until after our meals. No refills on drinks, and food was cold. Very slow service, food not good. Will not return.

The food was amazingly authentic. I had the Chili Verde and hands down it's the best I've had around here. The staff was attentive and very friendly. I will be back because it's the best Mexican food I've had in southwest Va!
