The Nook - Christchurch

Only bar in Christchurch on WorldTop50 website featured as one to “look out for” and thought we would give it a go. The design was immaculate and everything I would love in a bar. I only tried one cocktail so I’m not sure how legitimate my review would be but I thought the Regent Old Fashioned could be better. Crushed ice very quickly melted in my drink and that wasn’t ideal. Service however was tops here and we had a great chat with one of the staff member working there.

Impressive selection of gins! And mixed expertly. Great, friendly service and nice dark comfortable atmosphere. Minimal snack options.

My favourite bar in Christchurch, a nice wee taste of home if you are Scottish, tennents on tap and an amazing cocktail and whisky menu served by the best folk! Can’t recommend this highly enough Price per person: NZ$1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
