Coffee Culture Redwood - Christchurch

A great diner/café! We stopped in for breakfast on the first day of our trip to New Zealand. We tried the BLT chicken bagels, which were crispy and delicious, along with their Choffee (a delightful take on mocha chocolate coffee). We also enjoyed some vegetarian options like the Halloumi fritters and the Moroccan roll, which were both tasty. Sophie took our order and served our large meal with a smile. Overall, a wonderful experience!

I really enjoyed the Americano at this Coffee Culture, and the berry smoothies were also quite tasty. It can get quite busy here, so finding a table might be a little challenging. The coffee is excellent, and the food is good too. I appreciate its location next to a laundromat, as it's convenient to grab a coffee while waiting for my laundry to finish. There’s adequate parking, though it can be a bit tight at the back. However, you can usually find plenty of parking along the roadside nearby. Overall, this is a lively and popular spot with great food and drinks.

The staff is always friendly, and the food and coffee consistently meet high standards. The only drawback is the small size of the restaurant, which can get quite noisy, making conversation challenging. The seating is also quite close together. However, it’s a lovely place overall. They have a charming outdoor area that's perfect for the summer.

One person in our group had a gluten-free requirement, and the restaurant provided suitable options for her. The food is tasty and fairly priced given the quality. The clientele here is diverse, with takeaway customers as well as older diners and families enjoying their meals on-site.

I've had some wonderful coffee here in Nelson. Don't get me wrong—it's truly excellent! Thanks to the barista for preparing such a great cup before I head back north. It's honestly the best long black I've had recently in New Zealand. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional as well. I even bought a bag of single origin coffee and can't wait to try it!
